Castle Wood Theme Cottages- Couples Only - Big Bear Lake

This was a fun stay in celebration of our Honeymoon. The room was well-kept and themed with magnificent views. The bed was comfortable & the bathroom was large. Location: the hotel was so close to the Crystal cave as well as the waterfall which is a faux rock structure matching the one surrounding the tub to give the decor a sense of continuity. Pizzeria Domino's Pizza was located 5 minutes walk away.

A refrigerator, a fireplace and TV with DVD player in the room, particularly good and stunning location. A hot tub in the bathroom. Great choice for romantic escape.

The whimsical ambiance of Castle Wood Cottages transports you into a storybook. The attention to detail is impressive, with charming decor. Modern amenities were lacking-like a non-functioning TV remote and the older hot tub jets could use improvement. A good getaway worth exploring again.

The Tree House offered a unique stay with its fairy tale vibe. Twinkling lights and rustic charm. I loved the jacuzzi. The decor felt whimsical and charming. Recreational spots and restaurants were close by, great to easily grab food and stroll around. Sir Gawain, the friendly resident cat, added a lovely touch to our visit. There were some cleanliness issues, particularly dust accumulation in hard-to-reach areas. The shower had a slight mold scent, and some amenities needed maintenance. These details affected the experience, but the romance and charm of the Tree House were undeniable. The location provided a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for couples. Great experience overall despite the minor drawbacks.

We loved the medieval theme and cozy feel of our castle garden suite. It was so nice with its unique decor and thoughtful touches.

jacuzzi didn't stay full long enough.

This place suits me perfectly! The jacuzzi, free parking, and adults-only policy provide everything I need. I remember the staff helped me with an insect bite during my first stay. I'm coming back for Easter!

We had such a great time in the Tree House! The themed decor, especially the enchanting twinkling Faerie lights at night, made everything feel cozy and magical. Plus, the jacuzzi was incredibly relaxing after a day of exploring. I can't wait to come back again for another romantic getaway!

The fresh sushi at Fuji Restaurant was to die for-literally the best bite in town! Plus, the proximity to dining hotspots like Emilios and Sandy's Sports Bar made grabbing grub super easy. The Tree House was a dreamy experience too, right out of a fairytale!

The jacuzzi had a bit of a rough edge with a surprise suction jet that caught us off guard, and there were some areas that could've used a good dusting.

Castle wood theme cottages- couples only has some adorable themed cabins that really stand out. We loved how close it was to restaurants and the lake. The jacuzzi tub was a highlight, perfect for a relaxing soak. Plus, we had a surprise visit from sir gawain, the friendly cat resident!

The staff was friendly and attentive to guests. the location was stunning, close to many restaurants, Crystal Cave, and a medieval castle. - Conveniently situated at the center of everything.
